Pulsar N250 Overview
Looks
The overall design of the Bajaj Pulsar N250 is more muscular and sharper compared to the previous NS bikes. However, it inherits some styling cues from the NS200 but in a new avatar.
The most noticeable visual feature is the front panel, which has an all-new Bi-functional LED Projector Headlamp balanced by LED DRLs. The sharp fuel tank extensions and a sleek tail section provide more edginess and wickedness.
At the rear, it has a new 'X' shaped LED tail light, similar to the Hero Xtreme. Furthermore, this bike is only available in one color for now: Techno Grey.
Performance
Pulsar N250 is powered by a brand-new 249.07cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, FI engine. It can deliver 24.5PS of peak power at 8750rpm and 21.5Nm of maximum torque at 6500rpm.
Everyone is excited about Pulsar's biggest engine ever. Unfortunately, it has only 2-valves and still comes with a 5-speed gearbox same as other NS models.
Meanwhile, real performance may differ from what is shown on the spec sheets. The bike also now features a slip-and-assist clutch for safe and easy gearshifts, which is a plus.
Dimensions
The weight of the all-new Pulsar N250 measures 162 kg. Moreover, it has a 795mm of perfect seat height making it accessible even for short riders.
The bike has a ground clearance of 165mm while the wheelbase is 1351 mm. Similarly, it features a muscular 14-litre fuel tank and can provide an estimated mileage of 30 Kmpl.
Suspensions and Brakes
Bajaj Pulsar N250 is built on a new tubular frame chassis. Suspension duties are handled by a 37mm telescopic fork up front and mono-shock with Nitrox at the rear.
In terms of braking, it has 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes. For further safety, single-channel ABS with advanced technology is provided as standard.
Furthermore, the bike travels on 17-inch alloy wheels with 100/80 and 130/70 section tyres at the front and rear, respectively.
Features
N250 features a new semi-digital console with a traditional analogue tachometer and a digital speedometer. Moreover, the instrument cluster has a gear indicator, range indicator, fuel efficiency, and clock too. Other key highlight includes
